Walker McDonald has been a treasured friend of the South Carolina music scene ever since his high school years. A friendly face at a show, a pleasant conversation at Papa Jazz Record Shoppe, a breath of fresh air! In college, he became an avid supporter and contributor to WSBF Radio at Clemson University and became well-acquainted with the school’s blossoming crop of indie-rock bands. During his time in the upstate, Walker honed his songwriting craft to a tee and amassed quite the collection of charming, anecdotal tunes. In the springtime of 2022, Walker linked up with Marshall Brown for a fast-tracked recording session. The resulting product was Walker’s debut full length record, ‘Inside & Out’. In the weeks following the release of this album, Walker left for a two-year stint working for the Peace Corps in Zambia. He is currently spending his downtime writing new songs and playing with his newly adopted housecat.
